Scattered throughout the Woodlands over 200 acres are many lakes and ponds, which are a favorite of sculling enthusiats and kayakers. It is also home to the annual YMCA Dragon Boat Races on Lake Woodlands. On these lakes and ponds you can find more than 200 spices of birds, including the American Bald Eagles. Riva Row and Boat House is a fairly new recreational facility on the Woodlands Water. It is a 1.6 acre park that provides transporation from the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion from the Parking areas. You will also find Kayak rentals.
